British actor/writer Reginald Long made his on-screen debut in 1935's True to the Navy. Thereafter, Long limited himself to screenwriting. He further limited himself to melodramas, albeit with a light touch. Reginald Long's most significant scripting credits include The Spider (1940), Shop at Sly Corner (1949), and The Limping Man (1953), their content spelled out in their titles.
