Biography by AllMovie

Like her spiritual sister Adele Buffington, American screenwriter Betty Burbridge worked almost exclusively in westerns, from 1926 until the late 1940s. At Republic, Burbridge was principal writer for the Gene Autry vehicles, and also contributed to the "Three Mesquiteers" efforts starring John Wayne. Moving to Monogram in the 1940s, she scripted several of that studio's Cisco Kid entries. Among Betty Burbridge's handful of non-western assignments was the amiable Twentieth Century imitation Honeymoon Limited (1935).
