Born in Madrid in February 1991, Spanish actor-model Maxi Iglesias began his career as a child, starring in the 1997 film La Pistola de Mi Hermano, which also featured Viggo Mortensen. After attending school at Colegio Cardenal Spinola in Madrid, Iglesias appeared in the films 8 Dates, Sex, Party and Lies and After, and also landed a successful string of roles in the television shows Central Hospital, Cuentame Como Paso, Amar en Tiempos Revueltos and Toledo. But the heartthrob made his mark and gained fame in 2008 as Cabano in the series Fisica o Quimica (Physical or Chemical), a dramedy tracing the lives of high-school students dealing with various life issues.
Iglesias also delves into music and dance. A fan of electro-house music, he performs as a DJ under the moniker DJ Max, and also participated in the reality dance series Mira Quien Baila.
