Australian-born David Lyons became a sensation on his home continent for his role on the series Sea Patrol. A graduate of Australia's National Institute of Dramatic Art, Lyons moved his career to the U.S. in 2007 when he joined the cast of the series ER as Dr. Simon Brenner. He would go on to star on other shows as well, like The Cape and Revolution.
