Biography by AllMovie

As the daughter of the late Michael Landon, Jennifer Landon naturally scored her first acting gig on her dad's show Highway to Heaven when she was only six. Landon tragically lost her father to cancer in 1991 when she was eight, but the young actress continued to take inspiration from his work, attending New York University after high school, where she appeared in many of the university's theatrical productions. In 2005, she was cast as Gwen Norbeck Munson on the popular daytime soap As the World Turns, winning a Daytime Emmy after her first season in the category of Outstanding Younger Actress; she won the same award the following year as well.
