Biography by Matthew Tobey

A ubiquitous figure on political talk shows beginning in the late-'90s, polemical right-wing commentator Ann Coulter was born in New York City in 1961. Through her many television appearance and best-selling books, Coulter built a career as a controversial and often-irreverent critic of liberals and staunch defender of the neo-conservative movement. Coulter has appeared in a handful of documentaries including 2004's Is It True What They Say About Ann?, which was aimed at combating her many critics. In 2007, she added acting to her resumé with a series of performances playing Vice President Ann Coulter alongside President Rush Limbaugh on Fox News Channel's satirical The 1/2 Hour News Hour.
