Iowa native Jon Foster began his career under the bright lights of Hollywood with roles in films like 2000's Danny and 2004's The Door in the Floor. He also cultivated a career in TV, and even scored starring roles in the TV series Life As We Know It and Windfall, but both series were canceled after less than a season. Undeterred, Foster continued to find interesting film roles, notably appearing in the 2009 Bret Easton Ellis adaptation The Informers. He had a major part in Brotherhood, and in 2011 appeared in Oren Moverman's gritty cop film Rampart.
