A prominent British stage actor and operatic leading man who toured for several years with stage legend Nat C. Goodwin, distinguished-looking Harry Lonsdale claimed to have appeared in more than 250 silent films. Graying and with a military bearing, the veteran actor went on to essay a series of officers, judges, lawyers, politicians, and clergymen in a screen career that lasted until the year of his death.
