• Father, Tony Ruivivar, is founder of the well-known Hawaiian musical group Society of Seven.

• Directed and cowrote the play Safe, which was performed by the Imua! Theater Company in 2003. The cast featured Third Watch costars Coby Bell, Jason Wiles and Anthony's wife, Yvonne (who joined Third Watch in 2003).
