Essaying the role of Gryffindor Captain Oliver Wood, Biggerstaff made a notable impression on fellow actors and audiences alike, and soon began to prepare for a role in the second installment of the popular book series-turned-movie franchise. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, on March 15, 1983, Biggerstaff began acting at the age of five.
