A screenwriter for Mack Sennett's Keystone Company in the early 1910s, William E. Wing later concentrated on action melodramas and Westerns in the 1920s. Among his more notable contributions were several Franklyn Farnum oaters and the serial Tarzan and the Golden Lion. Wing left screenwriting at the changeover to sound.
