Paola Barbara was a supporting actress who appeared in many Italian films during the '40s and '50s. She was typically cast as a worldly woman. Barbara made her debut in 1936 with White Amazon. She is best remembered for her role opposite Vittorio De Sica in Palmeri's The Sinner. She made her final film in 1971 with A Man Called Sledge.
