A former lawyer, Missouri-born Neil Hardin toured with various stock companies under the direction of Allan Damaby prior to appearing opposite child stars Baby Marie Osborne and Gloria Joy in such forgettable cinematic excursions as Sunshine and Gold (1917), The Understudy (1917), and Angel Child (1918), in all of which he played somewhat unsavory characters. Hardin's screen career lasted until 1920.
