Biography by AllMovie

Russian-born Margarita Levieva spent much of her young life on the training mat, dutifully studying rhythmic gymnastics from the age of three. She would continue her training, sometimes seven days a week, until she moved to the United States with her family at the age of 10. Levieva's work ethic didn't wane, however, and she would go on to work full-time to put herself through college at NYU. Her onscreen career as an actress would be equally demanding, but she exercised the same perseverance, making minor appearances in films like Vanished and The Invisible throughout the mid-2000s, eventually earning more substantial roles in movies like Adventureland.
