A founding officer of the British Writer's Guild, Leigh Vance penned scripts for several 1960s features, including And Women Shall Weep (1960), The Dream Maker (1963), and The Black Windmill(1974). In the mid-'70s, Leigh emigrated to Hollywood to become a writer and producer of television series such as Cannon and Hart to Hart.
