A mature leading lady of the 1910s, Edna Goodrich was yet another touring company diva who briefly found fame in the still-fledgling film industry. Onscreen from 1914 to 1918, Goodrich starred in Armstrong's Wife (1915), was the American Maid (1917), and reigned as Queen X (1917). She was never much of a rival for such nobly suffering leading ladies as Clara Kimball Young or Olga Petrova, however, and returned to the legitimate stage.
