One of a handful of women writers specializing in B-Westerns, Elizabeth Beecher had been a newspaper reporter, feature writer, and writer for radio shows prior to entering films with PRC in 1941. She later wrote Westerns for Monogram, Universal, and Columbia and in the 1950s became a staff writer on Gene Autry's television show.
