Soap opera actress Eileen Davidson began her career as a model, eventually finding her way into the acting world by working in commercials. She was cast in the role of Ashley Abbott on the daytime soap Days of Our Lives in 1982 and would stick with the show for seven years. After leaving the show in 1989, she made a series of appearances in movies like Eternity and Easy Wheels and starred in the series Santa Barbara before joining Days of Our Lives in 1993. She would remain with the soap in various roles until 1998, when she returned to Days of Our Lives (which later became The Bold and the Beautiful) to reprise the role of Ashley Abbott.
