An accomplished percussionist and keyboardist before he landed his television breakthrough on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Eduardo Xol made musical history when, at the age of ten, he became one of the youngest musicians ever to be scouted and perform with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra. A Los Angeles native who studied theater arts at UCLA, Xol also established himself as a prolific music and video producer in Mexico before ultimately gravitating toward a career in design. It was Xol's early work pruning bonsai alongside his father that helped the designer a keen eye for texture, shape, and color, though. Voted one of the "100 Most Influential Hispanics in America" by Hispanic Magazine, Xol was set to debut his own line of bed and bath linens for Waterford in the fall of 2007. That same year, Xol's book Home Sense was released into stores to the delight of crafty Extreme Makeover: Home Edition fans everywhere.
