Biography by AllMovie

American actor Warren Douglas had a few seasons of stage work to his credit when he inked a Warner Bros. contract in 1943. Douglas was afforded leading roles in such quickies as Adventure in Iraq (1943) and the 49-minute Murder on the Waterfront, but had to make do with walk-ons in the studio's "A"-picture product. In 1946 he moved to Republic, where the size of his roles improved but the quality of his films did not. Turning to screenwriting in the 1950s, Warren Douglas turned out scripts for his own films (Loophole, Dragoon Wells Massacre) as well as the films of others (his last screenplay credit was the 1966 adventure flick Night of the Grizzly).
