Biography by AllMovie

Didi Perego (who was sometimes billed as Didi Sullivan through 1967) came to movies in her early twenties. A statuesque and extremely attractive ingenue, she made her debut as the wife of the hero in Mario Bava's Caltiki, the Immortal Monster (1959), and made three more movies that year, in a career that eventually encompassed 68 films. She also had some intermittent work in England (as Didi Sullivan), in episodes of such espionage series as The Avengers and Man in a Suitcase. She spent most of her career, however, in Italy (with a few appearances in American productions), where she aged into attractive matronly roles in the 1980s. Her last screen appearance was in 1992, and she died of cancer the following year.
