Character actor David White is best remembered for playing advertising executive Larry Tate on the popular '60s sitcom Bewitched (1964-1972), but he began his career as a movie actor in 1957 with The Sweet Smell of Success. White died of a heart attack in 1990. He was married to actress Mary Welch.
