Dale Dreher attended USC, following a position as an assistant librarian at the American Film Institute with a job in the offices of Hollywood documentarian James Forsher, where he managed the film archives. After numerous other Hollywood jobs, he began a career as a production manager and assistant director, primarily in commercials and music videos.
