Biography by AllMovie

American screenwriter Byron Morgan was active from 1919 to 1942. In 1920, he both wrote and acted in the comedy actioner Excuse My Dust, then spent the rest of his career merely writing (though "merely" is an inadequate word, in the light of his prodigious output). Many of his scripts had an aviation theme, notably Hell's Angels (1930), High Flyers (1937), and his last, Wings of the Eagle (1942). One of Byron Morgan's most fondly remembered credits was the Laurel and Hardy classic Sons of the Desert (1933), for which he provided the continuity.
