A former opera singer who had studied in Milan, Italy, and starred at Covent Garden in London, Albert Cody played several good supporting roles in Hollywood films of the late 1910s, including All of a Sudden Norma (1919), in which he posed as Bessie Barriscale's husband in order for her to crash society, and, in a decided switch of tempo, as Josie Sedgwick's menacing step-brother in the Jack Dempsey serial Daredevil Jack (1920). Cody apparently left films after playing a supporting role in Nazimova's Madame Peacock (1920).
