Another Side of Peace
Plot Synopsis by Tracie Cooper

Produced and directed by Ellen Frick, this documentary centers around the life of Roni Hirshenzon, a 60-year-old Israeli man who has lost both of his sons to terrorism. In hopes of preventing the continuance of such occurances (his first son was a victim of a double suicide bombing in 1995, his second committed suicide after the murder of his best friend), Roni has dedicated the remainder of his life to forging a peaceful connection between Israel and Palestein. The film includes important historical archival footage, as well as personal commentary from Roni and many other parents of slain children. Another Side of Peace was shot in both Israelian and Palestinian territories, and features several multi-cultural peace organizations.
