Known as "the Father of Modern Photography," Alfred Stieglitz was an influential figure in the development of modern art appreciation in America, as well as the formal establishment of photography as an acceptable medium in the world of fine arts. Archival imagery from his lifetime makes up this documentary, along with interview footage with artists who worked with him. The accomplishments and apprentices of Stieglitz as a prolific artist and in the art community are celebrated in Alfred Stieglitz: The Eloquent Eye.
