Fitness instructor Peggy Cappy is your guide for this yoga workout for beginners, of which she says, "You don't need to be thin, young, and a contortionist to do this program." Yoga for the Rest of Us offers a three-part yoga-based exercise routine featuring stretches, standing poses, and Sun Salutations, all designed so that those who may not be as fit or as flexible as they wish can begin to enjoy the benefits of yoga. Cappy, host of her own yoga-instruction series on PBS, is accompanied by fellow demonstrators of various ages and ability levels who help show beginners that this program really can work for nearly anyone.
