synopsis
Originally Kessen Nankai No Daikaju, the Japanese Space Amoeba is better known by its TV title, Yog-Monster From Space. Actually, the title character emanates from the sea. Yog is a humongous sea monster, activated by extraterrestrial forces. Poor Tokyo, not yet recovered from attacks by Godzilla and Rodan, is once more besieged by beasties. Director Inoshiro Honda does his usual expert job, though this time he's let down by the truly tacky special effects (yes, tackier than usual!)
