Filmmaker Morgan Atkinson documents the incredible tale of Anna and Harlan Hubbard, a husband and wife who have become known as pioneers in sustainable living. Once a two-year experiment, their dedication to the cause evolved into a forty year journey living on the shores of the Ohio River and inside of a shantyboat that would take them from Cincinnati, to New Orleans, and through the bayous of Louisiana.
