Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The "wolves of the border" are a gang of cattle rustlers, headed by Mexican desperado Joe Mardones (Louis Durham). The thieves are aided and abetted by duplicitous ranch foreman Pete Wright (Jack Curtis), who hopes thereby to get revenge upon heroine Ruth Warner (Josie Sedgwick), the daughter of Wright's boss, for spurning his affections. Meanwhile, neighboring rancher George Merritt (Roy Stewart) organizes a band of vigilantes to do battle against Mardones and his minions. A fierce gun battle is the result, and after the brouhaha has subsided, Merritt concentrates upon rescuing the kidnapped heroine from Wright's clutches. An excellent horsewoman, Josie Sedgwick delivered the film's best and most convincing performance.
