Playing his usual role of "Red" Hepner, FBO's boy-rider Buzz Barton comes to the aid of a prospector (James Welch) and his granddaughter (Duane Thompson), whose claim has been jumped by Kirk McGrew (Bert Appling) and his gang. Red and sidekick Hank Robbins (Milburn Morante) align themselves with Tom Ellis (James Ford), a government agent disguised as a surveyor, and together they bring the villains to justice. Veteran comedian Milburn Morante replaced Barton's usual sidekick, Frank Rice, and the Western was directed by screenwriter Frank Howard Clark.
