This is an HBO documentary narrated by Superman himself, Christopher Reeve. This excellent video introduces us to a handful of Americans who have persevered over major physical disabilities to live their lives to the fullest. We meet a woman with cerebral palsy who cares for her child alone, and an incredible six-year-old without arms or legs who treats each day at school with great determination. Without Pity is an inspiring and educational program, and it was the winner of the Emmy Award for Outstanding Information Special.
