It should not be surprising that the three-part British miniseries Winter Harvest was written by a woman. Cheryl Campbell essayed the leading role as the wife of a hospitalized farmer. With her husband immobilized and winter approaching, the heroine was forced to handle affairs on her farm all by herself -- but will grit and determination be enough to succeed? The three 50-minute episodes of Winter Harvest were first telecast in 1984.
