Former recurring character Alex Lambert (Farrah Forke) graduates to a "regular" slot as Wings begins its fifth season. The previously resistant Alex has entered into a relationship with notorious womanizer Brian Hackett (Steven Weber), who insists to his skeptical friends that this time it's the "real thing." What is astonishing about this particular romance is that Brian and Alex have not slept together even once, with Brian honoring Alex's request that they "go slow." Meanwhile, the couple's friends brace themselves for the inevitable moment when Brian will meet someone new and break Alex's heart.
