Synopsis by Tracie Cooper
Wildlife Stories: The Whole Story -- Elephants and Lions travels deep into Africa in hopes of studying two of the jungle's most celebrated animals: lions and elephants. The elephant segment provides a bevy of information concerning the large mammal, its habits, and its role in the ecosystem, as well as discussion of "floppy trunk syndrome," a virus believed to be caused by man-made toxins sprayed on plants. The other half of the program follows lions throughout their daily schedule and highlights their prowess at hunting, as well as a kinder, gentler side when it comes to protecting and providing for their families.
