Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Minor 1910s star Jackie Saunders heads the cast in this routine comedy-drama. Bethesda Carewe (Saunders) is known as the Wildcat because of her spoiled, reckless nature. Her wealthy father (Daniel Gilfether) loses his money and wants Bethesda to marry someone who can save him from financial ruin, though Bethesda refuses to be bartered off in such a manner. Regardless, Carewe invites Mortimer Hunt (Arthur Shirley) to visit and court Bethesda, but she refuses to have anything to do with him. In fact, she does everything she can to disgust him. Nothing works, however, and he only grows fonder of her. Finally Hunt and Carewe plot together to kidnap Bethesda and cart her off to a cabin in the mountains until she comes around. Hunt makes clandestine arrangements with a group of desperadoes, who, at his request, capture him and threaten to lynch him. The panicked Bethesda declares her love for Hunt and promises to marry him.
