Synopsis by Hal Erickson
In this reality show, former NBA star Earvin "Magic" Johnson scoured the country to find the 12 best street-basketball players (ten male, two female). Each of the series' ten episodes offered a weekly game and a profile of the players. Also each week, one or more of the contestants was sent home, until a single winner was selected and given a 100,000-dollar grand prize -- but, perhaps wisely, Johnson made no "professional promises" pertaining to the winner's future in pro basketball. Who's Got Game? premiered on June 22, 2003.
