Amy Warner (Melora Hardin) and Michelle Mudd (Dana Hill) are two 12-year-old girls with one thing in common: Their parents are going through the process of a divorce. Both girls are angry and resentful, especially because they feel they've been "deserted" by their fathers. Out of their grief the girls form a strong bond of friendship, promising eternal loyalty and respect, and never to betray their trust.
