Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Produced at Big Bend, Texas, this low-budget silent Western starred aviator turned cowboy actor Harry McLaughlin as a Texas Ranger attempting to preserve the peace between the volatile cattle ranchers and the settlers. A gang of rustlers is disturbing the precarious balance, as is a romance between a ranger and a New York girl. The latter was played by a debuting San Antonio girl named Alice Ray. She appeared in three locally-lensed Westerns for producer Bert Lubin before signing with Pathé and changing her name to Allene Ray. Usually wearing a blonde wig, Ray would go on to become the most popular serial star of the '20s.
