Synopsis by Janiss Garza

In 1922, Rin Tin Tin's film debut had just been released, so the idea of starring dogs in films had barely begun when this comedy-drama came out. It didn't star a heroic German Shepherd however -- Kiki was a little Pomeranian who proved to be no less intelligent than her larger counterparts (human and canine). Kiki is owned by Evelyn Selby (Edna Beaumont), who is engaged to Adam Dewey (Geoffrey H. Mallins). But Dewey has competition in Clayton Miles (John Wickens), the horse keeper. Evelyn has become infatuated with Clayton, and Kiki leads Dewey to the garden, where the wayward lovers are having a rendezvous. Clayton knows that Kiki is his adversary and tries to drown her, but she escapes from him. Clayton then tries to elope with Evelyn, but Kiki hides, throwing her owner into a panic and causing a delay. Dewey shows up and is finally able to convince Evelyn that Clayton isn't the man for her.
