Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Produced by and starring the prolific Benjamin F. Wilson, this very minor silent Western was one of the few independent oaters of the '20s to deal with the Indian Wars. Against explicit orders, a vainglorious cavalry major (Robert Walker) insists on counterattacking a gang of hostile Sioux Indians. His captain (Wilson) refuses to comply and is arrested for insubordination and cowardice. When the captain is subsequently cleared of all charges, the nasty major incites a band of Indians to attack him. Wilson is rescued by the cavalry, and Walker is shot by one of his own. Featuring Neva Gerber, Wilson's frequent leading lady, and former B-Western stars Dick Hatton and Bill Patton, Warrior Gap was released by J. Charles Davis and distributed on a states rights basis.
