The second episode of Walt Disney's two-part miniseries The Horsemasters is, like part one, set at England's prestigious Valleywood Riding School. Riding instructors Janet Hale (Janet Munro) and David Lawson (John Fraser) are entered in an important riding and jumping competition, the Hunter Trials. Though Janet wants to win as much as anyone, she does not look forward to following the tradition which dictates that the winner must auction off his or her horse. Janet's pupils, among them Diane (Annette Funicello) and Danny (Tommy Kirk), do their best to prevent this calamity from taking place. Originally telecast on Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color, "Tally Ho" and the previous episode "Follow Your Heart" were later combined and released theatrically overseas as The Horsemasters.
