Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Also-ran cowboy Buddy Roosevelt starred in this very minor silent western about a ranchhand whose pretty boss (Violet La Plante) is kidnapped by a disgruntled foreman (Lew Meehan). Roosevelt was a mediocre cowboy hero at best, but films such as Walloping Wallace were saved by their sturdy supporting casts, in this instance Meehan and the sloppy-looking Olin Francis. The leading lady, Violet La Plante sometimes billed herself (a bit presumptuously) as "Violet Avon." She was the sister of Universal star Laura La Plante.
