synopsis
A factory worker looks forward to retirement after his last day on the job in this situation comedy. His dreams of a peaceful home life are shattered when his young daughter shows up with her new husband. The eloping newlyweds move in and the generation gap grows wider. The groom is a naive architect whose youthful idealism rubs his practical father-in-law the wrong way. The son-in-law brings home a bunch of musicians for an all-night jam session in the already crowded apartment. When the daughter becomes pregnant, the man and his wife look forward to becoming grandparents. A temporary truce between the groom and the father-in-law is the calm before the comedic storm that unleashes a fury of laughs.
