Classical vocalist Thomas Hampson has earned an estimable reputation for his interpretation of the work of Gustav Mahler, most notably "Des Knaben Wunderhorn," and in this recital the acclaimed baritone discusses his work as well as demonstrating the talent that has made his name. Recorded in Paris in 2001, Voices of Our Time: Thomas Hampson includes "Des Knaben Wunderhorn" in its entirety, with accompaniment from tenor Wolfram Rieger and pianist Roger Vignoles.
