The tempestuous relationship between two volatile twenty-somethings serves as the emotional heart of filmmaker Michael Noer's unconventional documentary. Noer was always fascinated by his neighbors Julie and Martin, but he could have never guessed what would happen when he gave the couple a video camera and asked them to document their daily lives. In the months that followed the Copenhagen couple kept the camera rolling through good times and bad times, Julie speaking to it as a silent therapist while Martin took the opportunity to reveal some of his innermost fears. But as reality closes in on this idealistic couple, how far will they go in order to maintain the illusion of true happiness?
