Synopsis by Matthew Tobey

This film is the first entry in Hong Kong director Joseph Kuo Nan-Hong's Venom of the Ninja trilogy, which details an ancient struggle between kung fu and ninjitsu. Starring Alexander Lo Rei, Venom of the Ninja, Vol. 1 finds a young empress attempting to flee a group of ninjas intent on killing her and her infant son. After landing in China, the mother is murdered by the ninjas, but the boy survives and is adopted by a kind Chinese stranger. Over the ensuing years, as the boy grows into a man, he is trained in the art of Kung Fu. All the while, the ninjas plot to find him and finish their job. To top things off, they've got demons on their side. Also starring Lu Feng, Mark Long, and Chiang Sheng, the Venom of the Ninja films were also released as Ninja Kids: Kiss Of Death.
