Synopsis by Violet LeVoit
After her boyfriend's estranged mother (Allison Janney) refuses to help her, a young homeless woman (Ellen Page) has a chance encounter with an overwhelmed new mom (Tammy Blanchard). Sensing opportunity, she absconds with the unwanted toddler and returns to her boyfriend's mother with the story that the baby is her grandchild. The debut feature from writer/director Sian Heder (Orange Is the New Black), Tallulah made its world premiere at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival.
