Synopsis by Mark Deming
German filmmaker Olaf Ittenbach, whose low-budget splatter epics have won him a worldwide cult following, directed and stars in this gory and ambitious shocker. Premutos was the first fallen angel whose evil spirit has been walking the Earth in a variety of hosts since the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. When a man (Ittenbach) finds a book on Premutos and begins to read it aloud, he unwittingly brings the demon back to Earth, who not only takes over the unfortunate gentleman's body, but then brings an army of the dead back to life to do his murderous bidding. Premutos: Lord of the Living Dead also features Anke Fabre, Ingrid Fischer, and Fidelilis Atuma.
